In the top right corner, you’ll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. When I started the account there was no Xfinity so why am I being punished for having this account? Are you getting an error message when attempting to do so?

But if I reload the page, or try to bring it up when I’m already logged in, or click one of the links on that page, the icon only shows up, as stated, perhaps 1 time in 20. The icon show up perhaps once if I reload the page 20 times, and if I reload it again, the icon disappears. Why doesn’t my /auth page have an “Account” icon, or a “Check Email” link?

If I’m not logged in, when I type the URL or click a bookmark for it and go through the UserID/Password login sequence, the Account icon is usually present when the page first loads. But my Lenova PC logs in, no problem,. This is obviously a much bigger issue than a single user error. Obviously this is a much bigger issue than a single user error. @user_be3a52​ based @Comcast_ThomasC response, it does not look like they are not looking into this. Comcast Business log in has stopped working on main browser

Only having problems with my Comcast Outlook email. I ha to use my old computer the past few days, which is Windows 10 so I can keep the apps that don’t work on Win11, like Visio, and it has Office 2016. I get a variety of error messages – here’s today’s version. What you posted is true, but almost all of what customers are complaining about in this thread is unrelated to that issue. They are now scrambling to try to rectify why the time is off 3 hours and I’ve been on hold for the last 30 minutes.

  • Good morning @user_wrbevx, you can access the comcast.net email on the Xfinity website by logging into the website and clicking email in the drop-down in the top right corner, or go directly to connect.xfinity.com.

I am having the exact same issue. I have just sent my full name and address, though I don’t understand why that is relevant. I found the DM, with difficulty, and sent a message (DM) a few weeks ago. @user_7zyoyp​ @XfinityBenjaminM​  I am using the regular desktop version of Outlook on my laptop, not the web-based ‘free’ Outlook. Note that if you upgrade to Microsoft 365 Basic they bump the mailbox storage limit up to 100 GB.

Why can’t I get into my email? I pay for services I request not for services I don’t request! Please I would appreciate if a member of upper management would take a look at this.

Please let us know if you have any additional trouble or questions for your email. From there I click on the menu and select email, the menu option is also at the top right of the page. Comcast is hugely disappointing right now.

The fact that using a VPN allowed Thunderbird to connect suggests there could be an issue with how your connection is being recognized, possibly related to IP reputation or security filtering. It sounds like you’ve taken some great troubleshooting steps already, and I appreciate you sharing those details. Seems to be there on my personal account.

@user_ume8n0 Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. My mobile Outlook is working fine, but my PC Outlook outgoing mail suddenly stopped working a few days ago — I try to update the port/security settings as instructed by Xfinity. Microsoft now says to use Port 587, which I am doing, and I can now send from Outlook. In an effort to provide our customers with the greatest security when using email, Comcast recommends the use of the industry-recommended port 587 with TLS/SSL enabled. Much of the current use of port 25 is by computers that have been infected by malware and are sending spam without the knowledge of the users of those computers. And its customer service representatives from other countries mislead you asserting the problem is with your computer.

Once again, for reasons that Xfinity is apparently unable to fix, a user’s Outlook is suddenly unable to download email from Comcast. I demanded that my issue be escalated and low and behold, Comcast admitted there are having a problem with their server connecting to Microsoft’s server. I was on the phone with a Comcast customer service representative just tonight  in the Philippines who tried to tell me it was not an issue from Comcast’s end; rather, it had to be my laptop. I can log into Xfinity email directly.

I am having the same issue. We are aware of the trouble with email and our great teams are working on it! That is correct, @user_wxps8l! Got through to customer support and they recognized there is a problem gave me a ticket number.
